Why VEX IQ Robotics?
Dear Parents,
Every year, the VEX Robotics Competition, presented by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation, presents a game-based engineering challenge to students. There are two requirements that need to be met in order to compete. 1. Designing and Building the Robot 2. Driving the Robot to accomplish the set challenge.
Our VEX IQ Robotics program is designed in a way to encourage more student accountability, stronger executive functioning skills, and goal perseverance. Our curriculum sets students up for life long learning by building skills like resilience, leadership, communication skills and the most important ingredient – team work. Tournaments are held year-round at the regional, state, and national levels and culminate at the VEX Robotics World Championship each April!
