Camp Overview

Two different classrooms for grades K through 4th and 5th through 8th. Groups will be divided with atleast one older child, so they can run “Mentor me” sessions on a given topic. Each day is unique: we will do Brick building, puzzle solving, board games, debate time, and brain break & critical thinking activities and so much more!!

Camp Agenda

9am
  • Check-in and introductions. Explain Rules of Engagement of the class. Get in the zone – brain focus exercises.
10am
  • Read aloud poetry and non-fiction text. Spelling test.
11am
  • Brain break exercises.
11:15
  • Break for lunch. Packed lunch from home. 
12:15pm
  • Board games challenges. “I wonder” Question time.
1pm
  • Critical Thinking Worksheet activities.
2pm
  • Creative art work and older kids guide and mentor younger children in group work.
2:30pm
  • Mindful minute and “What are we grateful for” thought exercises.
3pm
  • Release for the day.
